My 4 Blogs

Not many of you know that I maintain 4 blogs. Yeah call me crazy, like how can I manage 4 blogs? Actually I can't. My most active one is my dotcom. I'm trying give each blog it's fair share of posts. I'm coping up well I must say, well at least for the three namely this (PR 0), my dotcom (PR 2), and the Personal.Shopper.Wannabe (PR 3). I haven't really updated my fashion blog, don't blame me coz I've been staying home a whole lot, unless you want to see a picture of a woman clad in tee and shorts and flipflops, LOL. Update: I just learned today that my dotcom was slapped a zero again...again...again. The.Personal.Shopper.Wannabe is down to two...oh well...I guess I'll just have to wait til it goes up...that's life, now matter how you want to understand it, you just can't. They are the "gods".

You Drop, I Follow

I'm becoming a consistent dropper over at entrecard. It helps you know. If you still don't have an account with them, better create and include all your blogs. It's a nice way of creating good traffic to your blogs. But you need to do your share of dropping too. As they say it takes two to tango. I'm very thankful that the websites where I drop ECs return the favor. I can say that I have a tremendous traffic increase in my blogs. The New HD Radio

Have you heard about a new product called Polk Audio I-sonic ES2? This is actually the second time I've heard about it, and I am quite interested. All of us love music, and usually we sing along to the songs we listen too. Yeah it's part of our family bonding. What I like about this new product is the ability to tag a music in the iPod. Say we've been hearing this music on radio and it has become a favorite. I can always tag it from the HD Radio to my iPod. Cool feature isn't it? This is actually a radio that broadcasts digitally. Far different from the radio we have back then. The stations have CD quality sound. They say the reception is just awesome sans audio distortion. It can broadcasts new channels and if you want to listen to country music, just tune in to the new country music stations. I'd love to have this really, but I don't think they have it here where I live. People living in Florida are lucky because of the Florida High Definition Radio stations. They will be able to listen to good music digitally.

Growing Herbs on Pots

Yay! I can now grow my own herbs. I tried my hand at planting (on pots) and I was successful. I never thought I was a green thumb until the plants started growing. Is it premature to say that I am green thumb since it just started to sprout? Well I'd like to believe that I am. I also planted zinnias and it's sprouting too. I can't wait to see the flowers and take pictures of it, haha, talking about flickr addition. Oh well, it keeps me busy and makes my life exciting. Life can be this simple you know.

Non-stop Kneading

My Saturday was spent supervising the kids (my daughter and her classmates) in making dough. It was a tough job I can say, because they did it manually. They had to knead til their armpits hurt. Well that was what they felt after 15 minutes of kneading, then kneading is still needed til the water runs clear. At one point I had to help my daughter and one of her groupmates, they were exhausted from all the kneading.

I Love Mustafa

Isn't this pretty? I need to look for a design for this ASAP. Haha, like it's matter of life and death. Nah, I just wanna wear it, that's it. I'm excited you know. I already have a stilleto for it. All I need now is to bring it to the designer and have it made. I love Mustafa...that's where I bought the cloth. Gosh the designs are overwhelming. It's like I wanna buy them all. I bought a few though, I wonder if the designer can do it before the year ends. I wish!

Shopping Again?

My oh my! I know I just got back from Singapore and yet I am still shopping? I can't stop myself from buying stuff offered on prices you can't resist. Ok let me tell you. A mango jeans selling at P3,500 (about $77) is now P999 (about $22), an Italian Stilleto that used to sell about the same price as the jeans is now P999 (about $15). Now tell me, would you pass up the opportunity? I won't hehe. I have not been shopping for quite a while now, well except for cloths from Divisoria. It's not at all major, so I have the right to shop now. I didn't do any major shopping in Singapore too. Teehee!

Point and Shoot Camera Needed

I am planning to buy a new point and shoot camera. The one I have now is quite bulky and it's only 5 mega pixel. I want something thinner and with a higher mega pixel. I've done my share of scouting for brands in the internet and I've taken a look at this Panasonic camera. It has a leica lens which is a plus for me since I know that they really make good optics. I actually like the features especially the 10x optical zoom. I also love the fact that it's has a 28mm wide angle lens. It can do so much for such a compact camera.

A Unique Centerpiece

Being in the wedding industry (a wedding photographer), I have not seen a centerpiece made of ostrich feathers. It's actually unique and beautiful. It's a great idea to suggest this to our clients, I'm sure if ever they would be the first to have this kind of certerpiece. It's a perfect accent for any wedding or special events. Short Vacation

I left for Singapore together with my SIL, BIL and a friend last Thursday. We came back yesterday. It was a fun trip sans shopping. Well I did a little shopping though, coz I couldn't stretch my shopping money to high heavens. There are a lot of things I wanted to get for myself, but I just couldn't afford it. Instead of shopping, we went on a food trip. Food's good there especially the dimsum at Crystal Jade (did I remember it right?). I think I gained a few pounds from all the eating. We did a lot of walking too, to check out on the stuffs on sale at the shopping malls. I love the shopping malls there, it's huge too. Good thing we stayed along Orchard Road, and the malls were just steps away. But that didn't stop us from going to the malls on the east and the west. Haha talk about shopping addiction. We spent a lot on taxi fare going to all the other malls. We didn't go to Sentosa or Night Safari or other tourist attractions anymore, since this is already our second trip to Singapore.

I Want HD

My 12-year-old son came to us one time. He was asking about HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface). Apparently the video game he is playing now has a choice whether you want to play it with high definition picture and color. I can see that not far from now, we will be having a HDMI wall plate attached to our walls. Why are kids nowadays so technical? They want to have the best as much as possible. They are so updated with the latest technology that I find myself quite barbaric for not knowing. Thank goodness for smart kids, haha. At least I get to update too.

Soft and Comfortable

I saw this lovely pair when I went to Singapore recently. I actually wanted to buy it but I already bought a pair of high heels and didn't have the extra money to buy it. All the pairs of Ecco shoes on display were all lovely. And when I tried a few pairs, it was really comfortable. I love the kind of leather that they used. It's soft and comfy. I should have seen it first before I bought the high heels, darn! I'll have to save more so I can buy those pairs of Ecco shoes I found in Singapore.

Flower Garden

How I wish we had space to grow flowers, like a flower garden perhaps? I love pretty flowers. There was even a time when my helpers would go to the flower market to buy some freshcuts to be placed on the dinner table. Since we do not have space for a garden, this did not stop me from having flowers in the house. I recently bought flower plants in pots and placed them in the terrace. The flowers are in full bloom and I would always take photographs of it. I can say that I am getting addicted already. My flickr page shows them all.

NATURAL Acne Treatment

I am now getting more conscious when it comes to the products I use. In the past, I have not really been reading the descriptions found in labels, but now I do. I don't mind spending more time reading what's written on the labels just to make sure that as much as possible I am not using products that contain harmful chemicals.

I've been spending time in the internet too looking for products that are all natural. Good thing I came across this natural acne treatment which I can use. I know, at my age I shouldn't be having zits or acne at that, but yes I still do get it.

Great News

I just got a friendster message from a friend whom I have not gotten in touch with for a very long time already. It was nice to hear from her. She's got kids of her own now. I remember doing the photography for their wedding, and my daughter Ish was one of her flower girls too. They have moved to the US after the wedding and has lost touch ever since. But I was really happy getting a message from her. She also mentioned that her sister (a very close friend of ours too) is doing good. Her favorite pastime is playing golf and she is very good at it already. I wonder what kind of golf bags she uses. I hope she comes across this entry so she'll have an idea where to get the most affordable golf accessories next time.

Daddy Bonding

This is normally what they do when they bond. Theirs is different. They eat. They both go for ambiance. If only they can go fine dining everyday, then they would do it. This is the reason why I try very hard to give them a nice setting at the dinner table so they don't need to go out as much.



Theirs is a different one. The boy would rather go for a massage, like every night before he goes to bed. I mean literally every night. It's like he can't have a good night's rest without the "tender loving" touch of his Dad. If the Dad is asleep, then it would be me who will give him a massage. Before he goes to bed, he makes the last stop in our room.

I'm just wondering what if we had more kids? And they all have different ideas for bonding?
